De Peelse Golf lies in Evertsoord, in the Peel between Venlo and Eindhoven. Its 18-hole Championship Course gained A status from the Dutch federation as soon as it opened in 1996, and the federation regularly uses it for national and regional events.
The Championship Course
Alan Rijks designed it as a parkland course, par 72, with water and woodland as the main features. On one hole the advice is to lay up short of the stream so you can attack the green with your second. The 13th is a tough par 4 with water on both sides of the fairway, and the club notes that the water on the right is found more often than the water on the left. The course is demanding enough for high-level competition but, the club says, also simply a course to enjoy.
The Broekbosbaan and practice
Besides the main course there is the Broekbosbaan, a 9-hole par 3 course that needs no experience. The driving range has TrackMan, free to use: tap a basket of balls and you can play interactive games or virtual rounds on famous courses straight away. The golf school offers private and group lessons and junior training, and beginners can take the Golfstart course. The restaurant serves coffee with Limburg vlaai, lunch and dinner, to non-golfers too.

Gulpen-Wittem · Woodland
De Zuid Limburgse Golf & Country Club Wittem
De Zuid Limburgse in Wittem has, by the club's account, the highest course in the Netherlands. In a Natura 2000 area, a round through the woods gives way to nine holes across open, rolling hills. The first nine were built from 1956 to a design by Hawtree.

Brunssum
Golfbaan Brunssummerheide
Golfbaan Brunssummerheide, at the Golf-Resort Brunssummerheide in Brunssum, has 45 holes, including a 27-hole Championship Course in three loops. Big changes in elevation, conifers and broadleaved trees, water, small fens and tees on higher ground give the course a character the club itself calls un-Dutch. The first 18 holes opened in 1986, the third loop in 1994.
