The Haarlemmermeersche Golfclub in Cruquius has a 27-hole championship layout in three loops, Cruquius, Leeghwater and Lynden, named after the historic pumping stations of the Haarlemmermeer polder. There is also the floodlit Bolstra par 3 course.

The Haarlemmermeersche Golfclub lies in Cruquius, in the historic landscape of the Haarlemmermeer between Haarlem, Schiphol and Hoofddorp. The course brings together reclaimed polder land, the industrial heritage of the pumping stations and the Defence Line of Amsterdam, a Unesco World Heritage site.

Three loops, three pumping stations

The 27-hole championship course is made up of three loops named after the historic pumping stations that drained the Haarlemmermeer: Cruquius, Leeghwater and Lynden. It lies between the ring canal, the former Floriade site and the Meerbos woods. Some holes run through typical Dutch polder country, while others are attractively contoured in parkland with young oak woods. The club names playing quality and challenge as the pillars of its policy, and it has held GEO certification for environmentally friendly maintenance since 2018.

Practice until late

Besides the three championship loops there is the Bolstra, a testing 9-hole par 3 course that was recently rebuilt from scratch and is floodlit, so you can play until late in the evening. The floodlit driving range has 48 bays, 32 of them covered, and there are three floodlit short game areas. For regular visitors there are round cards for the championship loops or the Bolstra.
