Goyer in Eemnes has the North Course, 18 holes by Bruno Steensels measuring 6,200 metres for men and 5,300 for women, and a 6-hole South Course. The club is known for its fast greens.

Goyer Golf & Country Club lies in Eemnes, on the edge of the Gooi and in the heart of the Randstad. It is a private club with, in its own words, real allure: a stylish clubhouse, two courses and spacious practice facilities.

The North Course

The North Course was designed by Bruno Steensels, the Belgian architect who also drew The International in Amsterdam and the new course at De Haar. The 18 holes measure 6,200 metres for men and 5,300 for women, par 72. The design stands out for varied and testing holes, striking areas of drift sand and fast bentgrass greens, with fairways, bunkers and thick rough set among clear lakes and large sandy wastes. According to the club the greens are exceptionally quick, and the layout is so compact and well thought out that you remember all eighteen holes afterwards. The website has a fly-over video and the pro's advice for each hole.

South Course and the club

Besides the North Course there is the six-hole South Course, for a shorter game or short-game practice. The junior programme meets the Dutch federation's criteria for coaching young players, and the club professional, Vince van Veen, competes on the European tour circuits.
