Golfbaan De Kroonprins lies in the floodplains near Vianen, between rivers and polders where the A2 and A27 motorways meet. The 18-hole polder links course comes with a par 3 course and a driving range.

Golfbaan De Kroonprins lies near Vianen, in the Bolgerijen, the floodplains of the river Lek. Its position by the junction of the A2 and A27 motorways makes it easy to reach, but once you are out among the rivers and polders you hardly notice the traffic.

Polder links

The club calls its 18-hole course a polder links: open, varied and exposed to the wind that blows across the river landscape. It is par 71 and 5,727 metres long. The architect has written tips for every hole, which you can request from the club. In winter De Kroonprins prefers to keep play on the regular greens rather than temporary ones.

Play and practice

Besides the main course there is a par 3 course, open to anyone with a course permit, including one from another club. The driving range has a ball machine. Green fee players can book a tee time five days ahead; the gate for visitors opens at 8.30 am, so book a morning slot after that. If you want to play as a four-ball, call the caddie master. The clubhouse is open to cyclists and walkers too, for coffee, drinks, lunch or dinner.
