Golfpark De Purmer in Purmerend lies in the middle of open North Holland polder country. You play 18 or 27 holes across three 9-hole loops with wide views, and there is also a short 9-hole course. It is part of the Hollandsche Golfclub.

Golfpark De Purmer lies on the edge of Purmerend, in the middle of open North Holland polder country. It belongs to the Hollandsche Golfclub, a group of public golf parks you can play without joining a members' club.

Three loops

The main course has 27 holes in three loops of nine: red, white and yellow. Any two loops make an 18-hole round, so you can come back often without playing the same course every time. All three lie in the same open landscape, with wide fairways, water, generous greens and long sightlines. That gives a sense of space and calm, but in the polder the wind has free rein. According to the park, the yellow loop has the most variety among its holes.

Short game and brasserie

Next to the main course there is a 9-hole short course for learning the game or improving your short game, and several professionals teach on site. The park runs free taster days and relaxed competitions such as GolfBingo, where anyone can win. After your round there is the brasserie for coffee, a glass of wine or a meal.
