Golfclub Zeewolde lies three metres below sea level, on the former bed of the Zuiderzee, on the edge of Flevoland. According to the club this is the largest broadleaf forest in the Netherlands, and the course ranks among the top 50 in the country.

Four loops

The course is generously laid out over 120 hectares and has four loops of nine: Aak, Botter, Pluut and Jol. Aak, Botter and Pluut make up the 27-hole course, and every pairing is par 72. It has a park-like character and lies in the middle of the woods. The Jol is a par 3/4 course with qualifying status, good for sharpening your short game; you don't need a handicap, provided at least one player in the group has a course permit.

Practice and play

The driving range has 25 bays, ten of them covered and fitted with Toptracer, which lets you play famous courses virtually and try skills games. Behind the range there is a second putting and pitching green, and you can hit off grass. Green fee players are welcome before 10 am or after 2 pm, or after noon in winter, and can book up to twenty days ahead. The club is preparing a move into temporary facilities.
