The Dutch in Spijk is a par 71 championship course designed by Colin Montgomerie as an inland links with a Scottish signature. It is open to members and their guests.

The Dutch lies in Spijk, in the Betuwe between Gorinchem and Leerdam. It is a club for business-minded golfers, with a stylish clubhouse and a strong business network, and the course is open only to members and their guests.

Montgomerie's inland links

Colin Montgomerie designed the championship course with the aim of bringing a Scottish golf experience to Dutch soil. The result is a par 71 inland links full of rolling ground that shows up best in the early morning light and at golden hour. The club says it is maintained to the highest European standards and kept in top condition all year. In 2026 the club celebrated 25 years of "Made in Scotland".

The club

The clubhouse is furnished with pieces from the Dutch and Scottish golf traditions, and the Spijkbar is where members meet for a chat or a glass of whisky. The Dutch Academy offers club fitting and coaching, including a wedge range, and the American major winner Allisen Corpuz trained there in 2026 after the Evian Championship. The Member-Guest Invitational is played every year.
