Viktor Hovland has been part of the absolute world elite for years. The Norwegian is known for his pure ball striking, calm swing and impressive length off the tee. Remarkably, Hovland does not always play the newest clubs. Some models have been in his bag for years, simply because they are the ones he trusts most.
Driver: Ping G440 LST (9°)
Off the tee, Hovland goes with the Ping G440 LST. This driver is known for its low spin and high ball speed, combining plenty of distance with control.
- Average distance: 300 to 315 meters
- Carry: roughly 285 to 295 meters
Fairway wood
For long shots from the fairway, Hovland uses a TaylorMade SIM Ti 3-wood (15°). This club gives him the ability to attack par 5s in two.
- Average distance: 250 to 270 meters
Utility iron
For long approaches he opts for a Titleist U505 utility iron.
- Average distance: 220 to 235 meters
Irons
A striking part of his bag is the set of Ping i210 irons (4-PW). Although these irons have been on the market for several years, they remain his favorites thanks to their excellent feel and control.

Putter
On the greens, Hovland uses a Ping PLD DS72 Prototype, a putter he has won multiple big tournaments with.
Golf ball
Hovland plays the Titleist Pro V1, one of the most popular golf balls among professionals thanks to its combination of distance, spin and control.
