Golfclub Zeegersloot in Alphen aan den Rijn has 27 holes, the 18-hole Griend-Heuvel course and the 9-hole par 3 Parkbaan. The Griend nine is a true polder course with water and bunkers, native woodland and nature-friendly banks.

Golfclub Zeegersloot lies in Alphen aan den Rijn, in the Green Heart, and has been going for more than forty years. The course is part of Alphen's Zegerpark, and parts of it are open to walkers and cyclists.

Griend and Heuvel

The 27 holes are split between the 18-hole Griend-Heuvel course and the 9-hole par 3 Parkbaan. The Griend nine, the first nine holes, is a true polder course that demands length and precision, with strategically placed water and bunkers, framed by native woodland, nature-friendly banks and a wall for nesting swallows. On the Heuvel nine you tee off from one of the highest points in the Green Heart, more than 17 metres above sea level; length matters less there than accuracy on a varied layout.

Parkbaan and practice

The Parkbaan, a 9-hole par 3 course, is being renovated in phases. There is an extensive practice centre, and the professionals teach beginners and experienced players. The club says everyone is welcome and that enjoyment and a love of the game come first. After your round you can unwind in the clubhouse. PGA professionals may play free three times a year.
