Golfclub Princenbosch in Molenschot has 27 holes through woods and heath and along water, plus a floodlit par 3 course.
Golfclub Princenbosch lies in Molenschot, between Breda and Tilburg, close to Gilze. The course runs through varied country of woodland, heath and water, and according to the club natural beauty and quiet set the tone.
27 holes
The 27 holes are split into three loops of nine: A and B are par 35, C is par 37, so depending on the pairing you play an 18-hole course of par 70 or par 72. The loops run through woods, across heath and past water, and the variety means the course never gets dull, the club says. In reviews, visitors mostly praise the condition of the fairways, the quick greens and the friendly welcome.
Par 3 course and visitors
There is also a par 3 course, floodlit so you can play in the evening. Green fee players are welcome from 1 pm between March and October and from noon between November and February, and can book up to four weeks ahead. If you want to play as a four-ball, your combined handicap may not exceed 110. The restaurant serves a lobster menu in autumn, and the neighbouring Oosterhoutse club works together with Princenbosch.
