The Oosterhoutse Golf Club's 18 holes run through park-like country with landscaped water and surprising views. There is also a par 3 course.

The Oosterhoutse Golf Club lies on the southern side of Oosterhout, between Breda and Tilburg, and has played here since 1985. The club describes itself as an active, welcoming members' course where golf is about enjoyment, relaxation and freedom.

The course

The 18-hole course is a long, testing parkland course, par 72 and 6,144 metres, with stately old oaks on and around it. As the club puts it, you only see how special a hole is when you look back: the course is full of surprising views and landscaped water. Long distances, clever hazards and strategic choices mean you need almost every club in your bag. There is also a par 3 course.

As a visitor

One notable principle: you choose who you play with, as the club does not automatically fill up groups. Green fee players are welcome from 1 pm, or from 11.30 am in the winter months, and can book up to three weeks ahead. Non-members can also take lessons and use the practice facilities. After your round there is Brasserie Uilenbosch and its terrace. The club has a partnership with nine other clubs and with its neighbour, Princenbosch.
