Golfpark De Haverleij lies on the edge of 's-Hertogenbosch, in the De Haverleij district with its modern residential castles. It belongs to the Hollandsche Golfclub, a group of public golf parks you can play without joining a members' club.
The course
The 18-hole course, par 72 and 5,815 metres, is made up of a red and a yellow loop of nine. Both lie in the same open landscape, with wide fairways, water hazards and dykes, and from several holes you look out across the countryside and the surrounding castles. The generous layout suits players of different levels, while the water and the wind keep a round interesting.
Short game and brasserie
Next to the main course there is a short 9-hole course for learning the game or working on your short game. The park takes part in the HGC Competition, which brings together players from the Hollandsche Golfclub's various parks, and runs free taster days. After your round there is the brasserie and terrace, open to non-golfers as well. An 18-hole round is booked online with two tee times, one for each loop.
