Golfpark De Haenen in Teteringen, near Breda, borders the Teteringse Heide heath. It has an 18-hole course and a par 3 course, and the park is open to walkers and brasserie guests too.

Golfpark De Haenen lies in Teteringen, on the edge of Breda, against the Teteringse Heide heath. The park is open to the public: walkers and guests of the brasserie and terrace are welcome too, and there is a sculpture park.

Four landscapes

According to the park, a round at De Haenen takes you through four distinct settings. You start among the flowering roughs of wetland and grassland, move into a park section with two large ponds and masses of rhododendrons and azaleas, and then through an old stretch of woodland. From the 13th the ground becomes strongly rolling, with heather and drift sand. The 18-hole course is par 70 and 5,733 metres from the back tees.

Practice and play

Besides the main course there is a par 3 course and a six-hole academy course. The practice facilities are open to everyone: a driving range with targets, a large putting green, a pitch-and-putt green and a fast all-weather practice green. Green fee players can book any day of the week, online, by phone or by email. The brasserie serves lunch and dinner, and there are packages for a full day out.
